Concept-Through-Completion Energy Efficiency Projects:
- No-cost facility audits are conducted to gather data of the existing lighting and determine the lighting preferences of company.
- An Opportunity Report is prepared of existing and proposed lighting, energy savings, project cost, rebates, and net cost, if any.
- Company authorizes a project to proceed.
- In some cases, utility will conduct an inspection to verify locations, counts and descriptions of the existing lighting.
- Installation protocol and requirements are established.
- Installation is completed.
- AEE develops and submits completed project data to the utility.
- Utility conducts a post-installation inspection to verify the counts and descriptions of the installed LEDs.
- Utility approves the completed scope of work.
- For projects with no cash outlay from a building, utility pays project cost and uses monthly energy savings to recover their cost.
