Concept-Through-Completion Energy Efficiency Projects:

  • No-cost facility audits are conducted to gather data of the existing lighting and determine the lighting preferences of company.
  • An Opportunity Report is prepared of existing and proposed lighting, energy savings, project cost, rebates, and net cost, if any.
  • Company authorizes a project to proceed.
  • In some cases, utility will conduct an inspection to verify locations, counts and descriptions of the existing lighting.
  • Installation protocol and requirements are established.
  • Installation is completed.
  • AEE develops and submits completed project data to the utility.
  • Utility conducts a post-installation inspection to verify the counts and descriptions of the installed LEDs.
  • Utility approves the completed scope of work.
  • For projects with no cash outlay from a building, utility pays project cost and uses monthly energy savings to recover their cost.
